Why A Famed Cellist Played For A Heard Of Bison On The Blackfeet Indian Reservation
The cellist Yo-Yo Ma has performed for presidents and in the world’s great live performance halls. This weekend, he took his cello to a meadow on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Montana to play for a herd of bison. Famed Cellist Yo-Yo Ma has a project devoted to selling and celebrating ecological therapeutic.

That led him to Glacier National Park to play for a herd of newly reintroduced bison. Experts and volunteers have been joined by students from around 20 universities across the country, with lots of them tenting at the dig. Other important fossils discovered this time have been Neanderthal hand axes, historical bison bones and a prehistoric shark fin.
